Tachiyomi Failed to Bypass Cloudflare | Here Is How to Actually Fix It
You open Tachiyomi, tap your favorite source, and get hit with “Java.lang.Exception: Failed to bypass Cloudflare.” The manga does not load. Nothing works. You have already tried restarting the app and it made zero difference. Don’t worry I will guide you step by step it will hardly take 2-3 minutes to fix it.

What This Error Actually Means
Cloudflare sits in front of manga websites to block bots and suspicious traffic. When Tachiyomi tries to fetch manga from a source, Cloudflare sees it as automated traffic and blocks the request. The error shows up when Tachiyomi cannot get past that block, either because the app is outdated, your cookies are bad, your IP got blocked or the source itself upgraded its Cloudflare settings recently.
Fix 1 -> Open in WebView First
This is the fastest fix and works for most people. When you see the error, tap “Open in WebView” right below the error message. A browser like screen opens. Wait for it to load fully, sometimes a CAPTCHA appears, complete it. Once the page loads, go back to Tachiyomi and try the source again. WebView stores the correct Cloudflare cookie that Tachiyomi needs to access the source.

Fix 2 -> Change Your User Agent
Cloudflare blocks Tachiyomi because its request headers do not look like a real browser. Changing the user agent fixes this by making Tachiyomi look like Chrome or Firefox.
